Today I woke up to 4 inches of snow. It was the first of the season for the Cincinnati area. In celebration or dismay of the event I was put in the mood to continue my Santa series at least one more time. Its 6x6 inches and is painted on a gesso coated masonite board. I was born and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have loved art from a very young age. I guess I always knew I was going to be an artist. I find painting as an ongoing challenge. Everyone is new and exciting and a chance to stretch ones limits. Starting a painting can be very intimidating but once you're moving forward and seeing things develop the sky is the limit. I live in a household with my wife and 2 daughters along with 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 bird and 2 turtles.Never a dull moment. Life is good and when its not good I try to make the most of it.
